A 20-year-old man sustained non-life-threatening injuries after he was shot in the 2700 block of Fourth Avenue on Monday night, according to Chattanooga police.
Alexander Hughlett was taken to a hospital in a privately owned vehicle. Detectives were told Hughlett had just exited a convenience store when a gunman opened fire, then fled.
