Man is shot after exiting store
A 20-year-old man suffered injuries that were not life-threatening when he was shot in the 2700 block of Fourth Avenue on Monday night, according to Chattanooga police.
Alexander Hughlett was taken to a hospital in a privately owned vehicle. Detectives were told Hughlett had just exited a convenience store when a gunman opened fire, then fled.

Person reported shot in the arm
A person was reported shot in the vicinity of Rossville Boulevard, Chattanooga police dispatchers confirmed Tuesday night.
The call came in about 7 p.m. from the McDonald's on Rossville Boulevard that a person had a gunshot wound to the arm, dispatchers said.
No additional information was available and the investigation is ongoing.
