Huntsville Stars rally past Chattanooga Lookouts, win 9-5

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -- The Huntsville Stars overcame a four-run deficit in beating the Chattanooga Lookouts 9-5 in Southern League baseball Monday night.

Chattanooga starting pitcher Andres Santiago had a no-hitter through five innings but failed to finish the sixth as Huntsville erupted for six runs to take a 6-4 lead. Shea Vucinich had a three-run double to left field and Adam Weisenburger had a two-run double to left in the sixth for the Stars, who added three runs in the seventh on consecutive RBI singles by Nick Shaw, Kentrail Davis and Vucinich.

The Lookouts, who slipped to 6-7 in the second half and to 41-42 overall, grabbed a 4-0 lead in the sixth when Jon Garcia doubled to left to score Joc Pederson and Brian Cavazos-Galvez.

Game four of the five-game series is tonight at 7:43 EDT. Duke von Schamann (1-0, 3.43) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts, with Brooks Hall (0-2, 9.82) starting for the Stars.
