One man shot in leg on Dorris Street, another taken into custody

The Chattanooga Police Department has reported that a shooting early this morning at 3627 Dorris St. led to Quintin Jones, 31, suffering gunshot wounds to a leg.

Darrel Jones, 40, was taken into custody and has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon.

A news release from the police department said an altercation between the two Joneses at the residence had preceded the shooting.
