Guitar god Steve Vai is the latest act added to the lineup at Track 29.
He will perform at the venue on the Chattanooga Choo Choo campus on Nov. 12. Tickets are $30 in advance and $32 at the door. They go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
Vai first took guitar lessons from Joe Satriani at age 12. At 18, he turned pro, first transcribing music and then playing for the technically demanding Frank Zappa.
Vai has since sold more than 15 million records and earned three Grammy Awards.
