The Chattanooga Football Club tied Rocket City United 1-1 on Wednesday night at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Ala., earning a point and keeping its lead in the National Premier Soccer League Southeast Division with one game remaining.
Chris Ochieng scored a goal in the 52nd minute, off an assist from Luke Winter, to put CFC (5-1-3) up 1-0. Rocket City (4-2-2) drew even in stoppage time to force the draw.
CFC remains one point ahead of the Gulf Coast Texans in the standings, 18-17. The Texans tied the New Orleans Jesters 2-2 on Wednesday.
CFC wraps up its regular season Saturday at Finley Stadium against the Jesters, while the Texans host Rocket City. A CFC win will clinch the division title and earn CFC a spot in the South Conference four-team playoff.
