Investigators with the Chattanooga Police Department’s traffic unit have charged a man with vehicular homicide by impairment after a fatal crash in July 2012.
Roman York, 34, was speeding the wrong way down Shallowford Road when he struck Myra Eaker’s vehicle head on, knocking it backwards, a news release said. Eaker was killed.
Two other vehicles were involved in the crash, resulting in two additional injuries to those occupants.
York has also been charged with reckless endangerment, driving under the influence and two counts of vehicular assault.
