The Alzheimer's Association is hosting a Caregiver Conference on Friday, Nov. 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Ooltewah United Methodist Church, 6131 Relocation Way.
The workshop is designed for caregivers of loved ones with Alzheimer's. It is free and open to the public, however, registration is required since breakfast and lunch will be provided.
"We recognize the struggle caregivers have in finding the support they need to care for their loved ones," says Amy French, manager of programs and education for the association. "Our aim is to provide caregivers with the education and support they need in order to properly care for their loved ones and for themselves."
