I VEHEMENTLY disagree with Ann Benton’s summation of our political scene. The Democrats continue to do more to wreck this country than Bin Laden did.

ATROCITIES HAPPEN in every civil war (see Fort Pillow, 1864). Syria didn’t get involved in ours, we don’t need to get involved in theirs!

THE POLITICAL TAP dance we’ve witnessed over retaliating in Syria is the latest chapter in lawyers ruining the world. So much for sneak attacks.

CAN THE NOBEL Peace Prize be taken back? Without the facts from the U.N. on Syria, who is the bully now?

ON AT LEAST two occasions, Scott DesJarlais was for abortion before he was against it.

SMART, HASLAM. You want students with post-secondary degrees, yet won’t pay teachers for theirs. You lack both a post-secondary degree and common sense.

I DON’T WANT to live in a community with the UAW present. Too many thugs. UAW stay away!

TERRIFIC PUBLIC relations, Corker, calling Volkswagen a “laughingstock.” If that’s your plan to get VW to expand the plant, shut up!

WOW, THE HAMILTON COUNTY School board and city government overlook $11.4 million and no mention of an investigation. Shocking! Where’s the money?

THAT WHRRRRRRRRRRING sound is some of Collegedale’s founders spinning.

TELL THOSE people at Sofa King Juicy Burger they need to change their name to Sofa King Greasy Burger.

You go, Ann Benton - the vast majority is in full agreement with you. With their villainous bile and do-nothingism, Republicans show all of us their ugly, ugly face.
