Three people were in serious condition after a full-size pickup truck and a smaller passenger car collided in the 700 block of Urbane Road in Bradley County just before 2 a.m. Sunday, Bradley EMS chief Stan Clark said.
Bradley County EMS responded to the head-on accident with three ambulances and a shift commander, Clark said in a news release Sunday.
All three patients were listed in serious condition at Erlanger hospital. The hospital's LifeForce air ambulance was asked to land in the landing zone at SkyRidge Medical Center in Cleveland, Tenn., to transport one of the patients.
The cause of the accident was still under investigation Sunday afternoon, sheriff's office spokesman Bob Gault said.
