Doctors Jim and Randy Hammon have been working together as veterinarians at their Northgate Animal Hospital practice for more than 30 years.

Recently, Dr. Jim nominated his brother for the Outstanding Practitioner of The Year award in Tennessee given out by the state's Veterinary Medical Association.

The award was given to Randy for his ongoing commitment to veterinary medicine, and his community service endeavors when it comes to animal rights. Dr. Randy was also recognized as one of the few certified veterinary journalist in the country who routinely speaks about animal care.

Our community is becoming more and more animal friendly. We salute these two brothers who will never forget the joy and inspiration our four-legged friends give us each day. This is truly brotherly love at its best.
