Daniel Paolini's three-run home run to left in the first inning off Garrett Gould gave Jackson the early lead in a 5-3 win Wednesday as the Generals notched their second straight win over the Lookouts (8-12) following three straight losses.

Jabari Blash's single to center in the second scored Jack Marder to make it 4-0. It remained 4-0 until the sixth inning, when Ryan Adams and Daniel Mayora opened with singles to center and Brian Cavazos-Galvez followed with an RBI double to left.

Mayora and Cavazos-Galvez would score to make it 4-3, but that would be as close as Chattanooga would come.

Game one of a five-game series against Birmingham at AT&T Field is tonight at 7:15.

Carlos Frias (2-1, 2.77) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Nick McCully (2-0, 1.26) scheduled for the Barons.
