When Mother’s Day rolls around, it’s almost always the kids doing the talking. “Thanks, Mom, for doing thus-and-such for me.” “I appreciate the time you …” “You’re the greatest because …”
But what about Mom’s side of the story? What has she got to say?
So, all you moms out there, what’s your favorite memory of being a mother? The one moment where it hit you: “Hey! I’m truly a mother now”?
Tell us in 150 words or less, and we’ll run the stories on Mother’s Day (Sunday, May 11, for all you kids who need a wake-up call). Please include your name and the town or community where you live. Email them to sryan@times freepress.com or send them to: Shawn Ryan, c/o Chattanooga Times Free Press, 400 E. 11th St., Chattanooga TN 37403. Deadline is Monday, May 5.
