Craft beer retailer plans two locations in Hamilton County

The Casual Pint, a craft beer retailer based in Knoxville, plans to open two Hamilton County locations.

Franchise owners Bryan and Kelly Hamilton said they will open the first location on Oct. 1 at 163-B Cherokee Blvd. on the North Shore.

A second store will open in 2015. Its location wasn’t identified.

The Casual Pint currently has four locations in Knoxville, with three more set to open in the area later this year.

The company is also planning to expand into Middle Tennessee in the coming months.

The Casual Pint mainly focuses on the take-home sale of bottles, growlers, or kegs, but also provides a bar, tables, and taps for customers to enjoy a beer inside the store.
