“We’ve been able to make significant progress over the past year in regards to the quality of our exhibits and programming and we certainly couldn’t do it without the support of the community,” said Executive Director Hassan Najjar. “All of us are getting ready to catch “Friday Night Fever” and we are certainly thankful to Check Into Cash for sponsoring the Village People in what will certainly be an unforgettable night”.
“The Village People are legendary for their amazing concerts and Check Into Cash is proud to help the museum by bringing them to town,” said President, Steve Scoggins of Check Into Cash. “When you mention the greatest acts in history, the Village People are right up there with Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones and even the newer stars like Carrie Underwood. This is as good as it gets.”
“The money raised by our Annual Gala is an essential part of our yearly operating budget and the announcement that the Village People will be our entertainment means this years event will be another huge success,” says President of the Board of Trustees Andy Brown. “The Museum thrives because of the support of our members, the community, and individuals like the Jones family. Their generosity is a significant part of why the Museum continues to thrive”.
The Annual Gala will honor Allan and Janie Jones and their contributions to the Museum Center and our community. The Museum Center at 5ive Points would also like to thank Jones Management for their support as well as supporting sponsors, Bank of Cleveland and the McReynolds Family Foundation.
