Antonio George, a suspect in the Nov. 23 shooting death of a 36-year-old Cleveland, Tenn., man at a Georgetown Road home, turned himself in at the Bradley County Jail this morning, Sheriff Eric Watson stated in a news release.

George had been sought on a second-degree murder charge in the death of Aaron "Josh" Davis, who died a few hours after the shooting at Erlanger hospital in Chattanooga. Family members accompanied him as he turned himself in, and he was booked into the jail.

Sheriff Watson thanked George's family for helping authorities to safely place him into custody.
