Delta Queen riverboat shut down indefinitely due to water damage

The historic riverboat parked in front of Coolidge Park has been shut down indefinitely.

The Delta Queen has been closed since late January when surprise snow and freezing temperatures pelted the Southeast, damaging several pipes that froze onboard, employees confirmed.

A front desk employee on the Delta Queen couldn't give a time frame for when the repairs would be finished. He referred questions to the manager or owner. Neither of them could be reached for comment.
