The program covers topics including field production, fertilization, irrigation and pest management.

The curriculum was designed by the UT Institute of Agriculture, Tennessee State University and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The fee for the program offered through the UT Extension Online Learning website is $125. No live training courses are scheduled for 2014.
