Mobile home fire kills couple in Alabama's Winston County

ADDISON, Ala. — Authorities are investigating a fire that killed a married couple in a Winston County mobile home.

WBRC-TV reports that the fire broke out Sunday morning in the small community of Addison.

Winston County Coroner Larry Gilliland identified the victims as 70-year-old Terry Cagle and 72-year-old Jennette Cagle. He says they are believed to have died from smoke inhalation but authorities won't know for sure until autopsies are done.

Gilliland said the fire's cause is unknown. The Alabama State Fire Marshal planned to be at the scene on Monday to investigate.
