A Jackson County Jail inmate who walked away from a work detail on July 1 is back in custody, according to the sheriff's office.
Nathan Thomas Clark was on a work detail at the Stevenson Park in Stevenson, Ala., when he escaped, a news release stated.
Sheriff's deputies arrested him early this morning at a home on Hill Top Road in Henagar, Ala., the release stated.
Clark was charged with second-degree escape and failure to appear on a probation violation. No bond has been set.
