The dumbest states, as measured by the percent of the population with a bachelor’s degree, the median household income and the 2010 average SAT score in each state.

1. West Virginia, 17.3 percent of population has bachelor’ degree; average SAT is 1513.

2. Arkansas, 18.9 percent of population has bachelor’s degree; average SAT is 1697

3. Mississippi, 19.6 percent of population has bachelor’s degree; average SAT is 1673

4. Kentucky, 21 percent of population has bachelor’s degree; average SAT is 1841

5. Louisiana, 21.4 percent of population has bachelor’s degree; average SAT is 1655

6. Nevada, 21.8 percent of population has bachelor’s degree; average SAT is 1454

7. Alabama, 22 percent of population has bachelor’s degree; average SAT is 1608

8. Indiana, 22.5 percent of population has bachelor’ degree

9. Oklahoma, 22.7 percent of population has bachelor’s degree; average SAT is 1689

10. Tennessee, 23 percent of population has bachelor’s degree; average SAT 1709
