Wasted Wine

Friday, friendly-cool singer songwriter David Wilcox will perform with the winner of the Songwriter Shootout from Thursday night.

Seth Walker sings the blues at Nightfall with openers Remembering January (who will also play at Bud's Sports Bar on Saturday).

Wasted Wine and Lumani Dance Theatre combine Balkan, drums and Arabic music with belly dancing fused with classic cabaret at Barking Legs.

Or, catch a Movie in the Park After Dark - this week's flick is "Monsters University."

Knoxville folk band Ten Bartram Band plays Rhythm & Brews, and Skymatic and Dioptrics are set for JJ's.

Skymatic's sounds is "melodic electronic hip hop with live violin and guitar" and Dioptrics' stripped down drum and bass.

Saturday afternoon, kids can learn about the cozy-yet-subversive craft of yarn bombing at the downtown library.

The Hunter Museum invites you to "ride the waves of summer" at Artful Yoga.

The Chattanooga Roller Girls take on Derby City's monsters of skates, and the Chattanooga Football Club go head to head with the New Orleans Jesters.

A folk / rock / Americana show at The Camp House brings you the stylings of Joshua Powell and Bad Scout.

And the always-loud Honest Pint presents Local Summer Saturday featuring Rigoletto, Gold Plated Gold and Shark Week.

Also at JJ's Bohemia, SoCro with Kindora and Floami Fly.
