If it seems like everyone has a vegetable garden but you, it could be time to jump in. The experts at Ooltewah Nursery & Landscape are offering a free seminar, How To Grow Veggies, twice this week to teach the basics of getting started.
How basic? The seminar is a primer on "what to do and how to do it," organizers say, that goes step by step from start to finish to start a garden or improve skills.
The first session is 3:30-4:30 p.m. today, March 6; the second, 10-a.m. Saturday, March 8. Participants may attend both sessions, but the same information will be covered at each.
"March may seem a little early, but now is the time to plan and prepare for your project," says a news release from the business at 5829 Main St. in Ooltewah.
