Jeremy Bivens, Bill James have leads in their primaries for Meigs County mayor

With no incumbent running for Meigs County mayor, the Democratic and Republican early and absentee numbers show slight leads for Jeremy Bivens, Democratic candidate, and Bill James, Republican candidate.

On the Democratic ballot, Bivens took early and absentee voting with 217 votes. Jim Welch followed with 129.

On the Republican ballot, Bill James took early and absentee voting with 333 votes. Jerry Beavers followed with 208.
