Chattanooga starting pitcher Chris Reed tallied seven strikeouts and allowed just one hit in six scoreless innings to pace the Lookouts (14-18) to a 6-0 win at Pensacola for the Chattanooga's second consecutive win.
The Lookouts took a 1-0 lead in the third inning on Scott Schebler's two-out double to left that scored Daniel Mayora, who had led the inning with a single. They made it 3-0 in the fourth when Reed had a two-out single to center and Darnell Sweeney followed with a two-run home run to right.
Game four of a five-game series in Pensacola is tonight at 7:30 EDT.
Andres Santiago (0-2, 6.08) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Michael Lorenzen (2-1, 1.82) scheduled for the Blue Wahoos.
