Rossville home partially destroyed by fire

ROSSVILLE, Ga. — Flames and heavy smoke met Walker County firefighters as they answered a call Monday morning on Chickamauga Avenue in Rossville behind Lane Funeral Home.

Two teenagers were in the house when the smoke alarm sounded alerting them to the danger.

A Walker County fire official tells Channel 3 the house had some additions making it a challenge for firefighters in battling the blaze. They were able to contain the fire to the laundry room.
