Wednesday night around 11:30 p.m., Chattanooga police responded to a local hospital and found a woman suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
Lakita Bowling, 36, a black female told Investigators that she was driving on 4th Avenue when an suspect, unknown to her, fired a single round at her vehicle, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.
Bowling realized that she was shot and drove herself to a local hospital, the release said.
