FORT BENNING, Ga. - Army officials at Fort Benning say the director and some stars of the new World War II movie "Fury" will attend a special screening at the Georgia Army post.

The Columbus Ledger-Enquirer reports the film starring Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf will be shown Thursday at the Marshall Auditorium on Fort Benning. Post officials say director David Ayer and several cast members will appear, but they gave no further details on the guest list.

The film features a U.S. armored division during the invasion of Germany during World War II. Fort Benning was chosen for a screening because it's home to the Army's Armor School.

Fort Benning officials say the audience will be mostly soldiers attending the Armor School. The screening is not open to the public.
