Woman charged with attempted murder in Alton Park shooting

A 37-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder in an Alton Park shooting.

Nadia Renee Hatten, also known as Nadia Brooks, has been arrested, according to a news report from the Chattanooga Police Department.

41-year-old Kevin LeVerne Smith was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the release stated.

Police say it was a domestic violence incident.

The shooting was one of four in the city over the weekend.

The investigation is ongoing.
