ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. - Rescue crews have pulled the body of a missing boater from Watauga Lake.
WJHL-TV reports officers with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency and the Carter County Rescue Squad were called out Thursday morning after an unoccupied sailboat was found on shore.
Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency Public Information Officer Matt Cameron said the report led authorities to begin a search.
No other information was immediately available.
