A Decatur, Tennessee, woman has been charged in connection with a house fire state investigators said was intentionally set with two people inside.

Laura Huckabey, 45, is facing two counts of aggravated arson in a joint investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Meigs County Sheriff's Office into a residential fire, according to a news release by TBI spokesperson Susan Niland.

Huckabey was arrested Saturday and booked into the Meigs County Jail on a $50,000 bond, according to Niland. Officials at the Sheriff's Office said Wednesday that Huckabey was still being held. A mugshot wasn't immediately available.

The investigation began Oct. 10 when TBI fire investigators were requested to assist the Sheriff's Office in a fire investigation at a residence in the 19000 block of North Nopone Valley Road, according to the release.

"The investigation revealed that the fire had been intentionally set and that two people had been inside the home at the time," Niland said in the release. "During the course of the investigation, agents and deputies determined that Laura Huckabey was the individual responsible for setting the fire."

Huckabey faces a date in Meigs County General Sessions Court on Nov. 2, according to the Sheriff's Office.
