Gordon Lee won its second consecutive one-point game, and for the second straight time, did so when the opponent failed to convert after a touchdown.

The Trojans topped Coahulla Creek 22-21 on Friday night in Chickamauga when the visiting Colts missed a PAT after scoring on Karim Bradley's 1-yard touchdown run with less than a minute to play.

Gordon Lee (4-2, 2-1 GHSA Region 6-AAA) won 21-20 a week earlier when LaFayette's 2-point run in overtime was stopped short.

This time, the Trojans jumped out to a 15-0 lead on Brisyn Oliver's 11-yard run (with Peyton Groce adding a 2-point run) and Dustin Day's 34-yard touchdown pass to Brayden Stoker. The Colts (3-3, 2-1) and the Trojans exchanged scores in the third quarter before the visitors scored 14 points in the fourth to nearly pull off the comeback.

Oliver had 83 yards and a pair of touchdowns on nine carries for the Trojans, who also received 91 yards rushing from Groce and 74 yards and a touchdown on three catches from Stoker.

Coahulla Creek's Bradley had 54 yards and two touchdowns rushing, Chase Ward threw for 155 yards and Keith Collins caught 11 balls for 112 yards.
