Traffic on Dayton Blvd. at Signal Mountain Rd. will lose a left turning lane starting tomorrow, according to a news release from the Tennessee Department of Transportation.

For many months the intersection has been temporarily set up with two left turn lanes to help with traffic flow during the U.S. 27 reconstruction project, the release stated. However, because the project is nearing completion, the contractor plans to restore traffic to one signalized left turn lane starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

A message board will be used to notify approaching motorists of the change, TDOT says.
