Worker injured after falling at Chattanooga construction site

A construction worker was injured after falling at a construction site Tuesday afternoon, according to the Chattanooga Fire Department.

The man was taken to a local hospital by ambulance after firefighters carried him down five flights of stairs in a Stokes stretcher (widely used in search and rescue), according to a Facebook post by the CFD. His condition was not known at the time the post was made.

The incident happened at the Edwin Hotel, which is under construction at the 100 block of Walnut Street.
