The Tivoli Foundation has announced the first acts to be featured in the recently updated Robert Kirk Walker Theatre at Memorial Auditorium.

Multi-Grammy Award winner Delbert McClinton will perform there on Oct. 14. The Turnpike Troubadours are scheduled for Oct. 23, while Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt will do an intimate acoustic show in the 800-seat venue on Oct. 28. John Berry will perform a special Christmas show on Dec. 15, and longtime favorite Jim Brickman will return to town for a romantic show Valentine's Day weekend, Feb. 16.

The Foundation has invested in a new state-of-the-art sound system; new lighting rigs and spotlights; updated pit seating; as well as an updated concessions and lobby area, in an effort to deliver a world-class concert and entertainment experience, according to foundation director Nick Wilkinson.

"These shows launch an exciting new chapter for the Walker Theatre and for the entertainment scene in Chattanooga," Wilkinson said.

"The Foundation is proud to present these high quality shows and thrilled to breathe new life into this wonderful, historic venue."
