A 32-year-old woman is recovering from non-life-threatening injuries she received Saturday after being struck by a CSX train east of Market Street.
The victim was identified as Brittany Boyd, Chattanooga Police Department spokesperson Ayriel Novak said.
The incident happened at 4:45 p.m. Saturday as Boyd was walking on the tracks that pass under the bridge about 1,000 yards east of 2900 Market Street, Novak said.
The woman was treated at a local hospital.
