A single-car crash claimed the life of a Trenton, Ga., woman early Monday when her 2007 Chevrolet HHR left the road, hit a culvert and overturned on Alabama Highway 71 in Bryant.
Janet Suzanne Wooten, 69, was killed in the crash that happened about 12:30 a.m. CDT Monday, senior trooper Johnathan Appling said in a statement.
Wooten, who was not using a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene, Appling said.
Troopers are continuing to investigate the crash, he said.
