EPB: All customers who experienced outage during storm now have power

UPDATE: EPB notified the public at 7 p.m. that all customers who experienced outages during that storm now have power.

UPDATE: As of 4:45 p.m. Thursday afternoon, EPB is continuing to work on restoring power to the remaining 9 customers affected by Tuesday evening's severe storms.

The utility expects to restore power to the remaining customers this evening. At the height of the storm, about 60,000 customers experienced an outage in more than 800 incidents.

As of 6 a.m. Thursday morning EPB is continuing to work about 161 incidents to restore power to 305 customers who have been without power since Tuesday.

EPB expects to restore power to the remaining customers before noon.

At the height of Tuesday's storm, about 60,000 lost power in more than 800 incidents, according to EPB.

The Smart Grid restored power for about 25,000 customers who experienced a momentary outage. EPB line crews have worked to restore power to 34,695 people who experienced a lasting outage.
