UPDATE: Chattanooga police investigate shooting that injured woman

UPDATE: Chattanooga police are investigating the shooting of a female who was found Sunday afternoon on the 1600 block of Roanoke Avenue at the Ocoee Street intersection.

Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services treated the female for non-life-threatening injuries. She refused to be taken to a local hospital.

A crime scene was established after investigators determined the sequence of events and the actual incident location on the 2300 block of Olive Street, less than a mile away from where the female was found.

Members of the violent crime bureau are investigating the shooting.
