Charges are pending after a man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Calhoun, Ga., Saturday evening.

John Dixon, 66, of Resaca, Ga., was driving a motorcycle traveling west on Highway 225 when Reina Guerra drove out in front of him, a Georgia State Patrol spokesman said. The motorcycle began to spin, throwing Dixon from his seat.

Guerra, 46, had just exited Interstate 75 at exit 317 and was crossing Highway 225 to re-enter I-75. But as she was crossing the highway, she failed to yield and entered Dixon's path, a witness said, according to a GSP report. Dixon was reportedly traveling at or below the speed limit but was unable to avoid collision.

Guerra suffered minor injuries and two other passengers suffered no injuries. She may be facing second-degree vehicular homicide charges, pending the investigation.
