A single-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Henagar, Ala., man Saturday evening.
Dakota Justin Blackwell, 23, was killed when the 1997 Lexus ES300 he was driving veered off the roadway on State Route 146 and struck a ditch at around 6:46 p.m., according to a news release.
Blackwell, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene, the news release states. The crash occurred seven miles north of Ider.
Alabama State Troopers are still investigating this incident.
