Country music singer Jake Owen will launch his summer tour, "Life's Whatcha Make It," on Friday, May 18, at AT&T Field in Chattanooga.
The 21-date tour will stop at ballfields across the country beginning with the Lookouts stadium and ending Sept. 22 at Lindquist Field in Ogden, Utah. Other regional tour stops will be Jackson, Tenn., on June 15; Birmingham, Ala., on Aug. 30; and Montgomery, Ala., on Aug. 31.
Joining Owen will be Chris Janson, who's had hits with "Buy Me a Boat" and "Drunk Girl," and Jordan Davis, whose current single is "Singles You Up."
This tour follows Owen's November release of a greatest hits album, which included six No. 1 singles.
Owen stopped in Chattanooga two years ago on his Southern road trip in a 1966 Volkswagen bus from Nashville to Key West. After alerting fans of his arrival through social media, Owen and the "Love Bus" pulled into the Tennessee Aquarium's plaza for an impromptu Saturday night show.
Owen, a native Floridian, shares his love of the beach and water sports in many of his songs and their videos, among them "Beachin'," "Barefoot Blue Jean Night" and "Good Company."
