A man was shot in the 3000 block of McGill Cemetary Road Friday morning, according to a release from the Chattanooga Police Department.
Police found James Wade, 37, suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound at around 10:47 a.m. Wade was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Police arrested the suspect, Alvin Brown, 50, at the scene. Witnesses told police that Wade and Brown had argued prior to the shooting. Brown has been charged with aggravated assault, according to the release.
