A man is facing several charges after he was pulled over with drugs packaged for resale and stored in the door panels of the car he was driving.

A sheriff's deputy was sitting off Shallowford Village Drive on Wednesday evening, filling out a ticket when a silver GMC pulled onto the road quickly and braked "violently." The deputy noted the driving was irregular and pulled the car over as it pulled into a parking lot.

The deputy approached from the passenger side, but the driver indicated the window didn't work and allowed the deputy to open the passenger door so they could talk. The deputy noted a strong smell of marijuana when he opened the door, according to court documents.

The driver, Terence Walker, 30, produced a valid driver's license which returned no warrants when the deputy checked. Walker also got out of the car when asked and the deputy conducted a search of his person, finding two wads of cash and two plastic bags that had marijuana shake in them.

Finally, the deputy found a bulge in Walker's sock and placed him in handcuffs before moving on to a search of the car. The deputy noticed tool marks on the door panels and popped them off, discovering 53 grams of marijuana packaged for resale along with $210 in cash mixed among the baggies.

Inside the driver's side door were two large bags that contained crack cocaine packaged for resale, cocaine and hydrocodone. Authorities also found a loaded Keltec .32 caliber pistol with a chambered round under the floor carpet. The gun had been reported as stolen.

Walker has been charged with possession of a firearm during commission or attempt to commit a felony, possession of drug paraphernalia, theft of property and four counts of drugs general category for resale. He is next scheduled to appear in court before General Sessions Judge Christine Sell on June 18.
