Two years after buying Clumpies Ice Cream, the owners of Rock City Gardens are adding a second Clumpies location in Chattanooga at the Incline Railway station Rock City manages in St. Elmo.

Workers preparing the inside of the eatery said Friday the new spot will open "at the end of next week." The shop will feature an entire wall covered in chalkboard paint to list available flavors.

Clumpies will bring a second ice cream shop to St. Elmo with its new location across the street from Mr. T's Pizza & Ice Cream.

See Rock City Inc., the parent company of the Lookout Mountain attraction, has long managed the Incline Railway's concessions, including a Dippin' Dots stand.

Clumpies Ice Cream Co., started in 1999 by Chattanoogan Marshall Brock, has a retail location on Frazier Avenue and a production site on the city's Southside.
