The biggest building permits issued so far this year in Chattanooga include major sewer and water infrastructure upgrades and apartments and senior living facilities.

1. City of Chattanooga Moccasin Bend wastewater treatment plant upgrades - 455 Moccasin Bend Road, $20.7 million

2. Tennessee American Water Citico station wastewater upgrades and dewatering building - 101 Wiehl St, $12 million

3. Apartment complex - 500 Lindsay St. by Walk2Campus, $5.65 million

4. Morning Pointe in Hixson second phase - 7715 Shallowford Road, $5 million

5. Dominion Senior Living center - 43 North Pointe Blvd. in Hixson, $5 million
