Two Chattanooga restaurants failed their latest inspection.
Las Margaritas on Skyview Drive and Waffle House on Dayton Pike both received failing grades for a variety of reasons.
Las Margaritas was caught placing gloves that had fallen on the floor back into the original container to be used again. The restaurant was also cited for keeping food at the wrong temperature and for preparing food on a piece of cardboard. There was also no date marking on food. The restaurant received a score of 63. Employees later corrected the issues and received a 94.
Waffle House scored a 69 after employees left dirty rags on counter tops and didn't wash their hands after handling meat. The score was corrected to 94.
