Textile Corporation to add 1,000 jobs in Bledsoe County

PIKEVILLE -- Textile Corporation of America announced today it will make the biggest private investment ever in Bledsoe County, adding 1,000 jobs.
The textile manufacturer will invest $27.1 million and locate its headquarters and a factory in Pikeville. The company will move into the 186,000-square-foot former Dura Automotive plant here.
"We still make things in Tennessee and this is a great day for Bledsoe County," Gov. Bill Haslam said during today's announcement.
