These are the least expensive cars to insure

According to the online website insure.com, The Honda Odyssey LX remains the least expensive car to insure for the second consecutive year. Among the six insurance companies sampled for each vehicle, here are the cheapest cars to insure, all of which are well below the national annual average of $1,605 per year.

1. Honda Odyssey LX - $1,112 a year

2. Jeep Renegade Sport - $1,138 a year

3. Jeep Wrangler Black Bear - $1,148 a year

4. Honda CR-V LX - $1,170 a year

5. Jeep Compass - $1,183 a year

6. Subaru Outback 2.5l - $1,187 a year

7. Jeep Cherokee Sport - $1,188 a year

8. Buick Encore (tie) - $1,190 a year

8. Jeep Patriot Sport (tie) - $1,190 a year

10. Subaru Forester 2.5l - $1,196 a year
