Chambliss Center for Children has recently promoted Elizabeth Blasbery to the position of executive director of residential services.
She has been employed by the agency since 2007, serving most recently as the associate director.
Her predecessor, Elizabeth Pelton, retired in June after 30 years of service to the children and the organization.
Blasbery is a licensed master's level social worker with 12 years of experience working with children who have been abused, abandoned, neglected, or have come through the juvenile court system.
Before coming to Chambliss Center for Children, she served as a social worker in England.
In her new role, she will ensure that the program is in compliance with all licensing and accreditation requirements as well as oversee implementation of Sanctuary, an evidence-based program used to help the children move past trauma they have experienced. Additionally, Blasbery will focus on growing the program through recruitment of additional foster homes.
CBL & Associates Properties Inc. has added Mike Harrison to CBL's senior management team as senior vice president - strategic and technology initiatives.
In this newly created position, Harrison will provide leadership and oversight of new strategic initiatives and technology solutions with the goal of improving CBL's operations.

Prior to joining CBL, Harrison most recently served as senior vice president real estate for a private real estate developer, owner and operator. Harrison's earlier experience includes 12 years of senior level consulting practice focused on strategic management in the real estate industry at RealFoundations, Inc. as well as serving as a former principal and managing director at KPMG LLP.
Mike Davis has been chosen as sales manager for East Tech Co.
Davis came to work for East Tech in June 2012 in the shipping department. After six months he was promoted to shipping manager. This month, he was promoted to sales manager.

Life Care Centers of America has announced its 2013 Whatever It Takes And Then Some Award winners for customer service.
Arlane Howell, assistant director of nursing at Life Care Center of Tullahoma, Tenn., received an award for the Eastern Division.
Each year, an award is given to one associate from each of Life Care's divisions. Executives present each winner with a $1,000 cash prize and share the stories behind their acts of exceptional caring. Winners are honored during a session of Life Care's annual management meeting at the company's headquarters in Cleveland, Tenn.
